I told you recently that because of the fact that I started to make clothes recently, my obsessions shifted towards the accessories section of fashion: mostly shoes!!!! Pardon me: high heels that is! I can’t stop drolling over these latest Louis Vuitton and Versace shoe ads. Would most definitely wear them, even if it would make me be 2 meters tall. Take that not-quite-tall guys!

Being a huge fan of Erykah Badu’s music and style, I knew that I would love this Tom Ford White Patchouli perfume ad right away. And it is pretty awsome. She looks incredible and those nails must be the most perfect nails ever, no?

Anyway, I am actually on the hunt for a new favorite perfume. Some people search for it their whole lives, I know. Hopefully I’ll find one real soon. Until now, during all the University years, I was a Moschino girl. Because a chapter of my life ended recently, I planed to change something. And I chose the perfume in favor of the hairstyle. I’ll keep the bold bangs-bob hairstyle combo a bit longer, just because of Karl Lagerfeld’s latest couture collection for Chanel and because it pretty much became a signature look of mine.

What do you change in your appearance when you feel the need for change in life?

Attending a lot of graduate fashion shows, art openings and photo exhibitions is exhausting but a whole lot of fun. Will post about the graduate fashion collections, from the shows that I hosted, as soon as I’ll have some spare time. No, I’m not talking about the 90’s band ‘Wet Wet Wet’ but about these lovely dresses that appear to be all floaty and wet. No, seriously, do you thing the editors really created this spread in a water tank? I remember the episodes in most America’s Next Top Model cycles when they made the girls take pictures under water, however they weren’t dressed in expensive McQueen, Cavalli and so on, gowns.

Sure, a quality gown can be washed and won’t get destroyed; just imagine jumping in the water while wearing a 2000 Euro gown. Must be a bit painful to watch. However, the photographs are amazing, so I guess it’s all worth it.

A while ago I wrote about the overpriced Phillip Lim kids clothing line. Elizabeth, a So Fash’on reader, commented on the fact that kids don’t dress like kids anymore. Even here, in the city where I live, I see baby girls dressed up by their mom’s like little dolls. “I remember wearing blue shorts and a white short sleeve t-shirt with some cartoon character on the front and matching blue trim to climb trees and come home from the park all scratched up, dirty and rosy cheeked from running around for five hours“. I used to do that too, until I got a Barbie doll and started to create clothing/a living space out of card-boards, basically, a life for it. And Karen Elson in this editorial from Vogue UK April 2008 looks exactly like the Barbie I would love to have now. Wait, I’d actually love to have those dresses for myself.

Some things get so easily mixed up. Kids dressing like little adults, adults behaving like kids.. Life, right?
