Diana Bobar

Welcome to my website ... and enjoy my journey inside the twisted world of Romanian fashion: from fabric choosing to pattern cutting, to the actual sewing - right now, I try to do my best in bulding my own clothing label: DIANA BOBAR DESIGN and having fun blogging the process.

“Classics Never Die” Photo Shoot

Say goodbye to last fall’s “grunge look” and welcome this fall’s classic, ladylike shapes. It all in the basic pieces that will never go out of style: the little black dress, the dramatic hat, the pencil skirt, the classic ruffled shirt, the tweed jacket, the pleated skirt worn as a dress (why not?), the thin belt, the classic pumps. This is all you need to find the woman in you!
Because you know what they say, “classics never die”!

  7. Beautiful work. I used to work for Surface Magazine and they have this great project called the Avant Guardian competition. It’s an annual fashion photography contest and it’s a great way to get your work name out there. You should seriously think about entering! You can check the website (www.surfacemag.com) to see the work of past participants.

  25. Nice, nice! One of the best until now. I especially love the hat with the veil, tres parisienne in my opinion. The grey plisseed skirt worn as a dress is really inspiring and soo matchy with that red bag! Really good work done here. And, allthough it;s not very fashion, I like the photo before the last one, with roro leaning on te wall. Great perspective.

  36. Diana, these are the best ones yet. Excellent, Bravo and I don’t say it loosly. Current styling (extraordinary to achieve this look even with “designer” pieces), well put together, edited, location, model, composition, go get a job already, you’re getting to the point where your portfolio should get you paid projects!

    All the best
