Welcome to my website ... and enjoy my journey inside the twisted world of Romanian fashion: from fabric choosing to pattern cutting, to the actual sewing - right now, I try to do my best in bulding my own clothing label: DIANA BOBAR DESIGN and having fun blogging the process.

Crinoline Flowers

Ever wondered what’s under a big, puffy skirt? Lots of layers of tulle, organza or other fairy princess fabrics. I remember watching a documentary on couture clothing and they showed how a Dior skirt was created: it had a gazillion different layers of different types of fabrics. They all served a purpose and were hand sewn together. I personally love them big skirts. I also love these photographs. And I’m not even considering the sexy stockings. However, I’m sure my boyfriend is.

  3. Oooh those are so pretty. I used to work in a dress shop and would walk around in crinoline and hoops just for fun.
