“Cronica De Sud-Vest” is an important weekly newspaper in the South-Western part of Romania and I am featured in one article from their latest issue. It’s about new, up-and-coming fashion designers from this part of the country and I feel incredibly honored to actually be featured in it! Literally, because they printed even a photo of my face, besides the one with Roro modeling one of my fall 2008 pieces from the collection look book.
Of course I know press is important for any business and I am pleased that I got a lot of positive press lately. I’m quite curious to get negative press, I don’t know how I might react, but I’m sure I will be able to deal with it, just because I twist everything into a positive experience. For me, negative comments are even more helpful than the positive ones, because that’s how I got to learn everything I know right now in the first place.
I didn’t and still don’t have a teacher or a guider to show me the right way to start this business, or deal with tough situations which do occur sometimes. It’s one step at a time for me, combined with a lot of work and the everyday need to learn/experience/create new things.
