Diana Bobar

Welcome to my website ... and enjoy my journey inside the twisted world of Romanian fashion: from fabric choosing to pattern cutting, to the actual sewing - right now, I try to do my best in bulding my own clothing label: DIANA BOBAR DESIGN and having fun blogging the process.

Diana Bobar FW07 Mini-Collection

difash21

Black satin skirt with irregular pleats, worn as a dress.

difash11

Black jumper dress, with pockets and a long zipper at the front; Printed black&green bolero.

difash161

Printed dress with attached red scarf tied around the neck.

Finally, I finished editing the photographs I took of my designs. I didn’t want to just photograph the clothes in a simple, boring full frontal way, so I won’t call it a look-book. It’s just a showcase of the first and latest clothes I designed and sewed myself, during these last months. I did start thinking of clothes for next summer and sketching some ideas. I want to work more with patterns, try to make tailored pants and jackets. It will certainly be better than this “mini-collection”.

Anyway, everything at it’s time, right?

I do sell my clothes [at reasonable prices, may I add], and also create these designs in whatever fabric you want/chose, in your own size. Contact me at diana[at]sofashon.com if interested. [Model: Roxana Vuc].

  2. Thanks Leonie:) Well, the bolero goes for 20 Euro and most dresses (including that one) go for 30 Euro, plus shipping (for the U.S. it’s about 15 Euro, for Europe it’s cheaper).
Thanks for asking, it does make me feel good :))

  4. Wow my gosh! The designs are wonderful. My favourites are: this one, this one and this one. The thin scarves are a nice touch I think and a great use of leftover fabric (I think).

How long has it taken you to make all of those?

This collection is great, I loved the green bolero and the dress with the pleating details. A pity that I live too far, or I’d certainly order them!
