I believe in karma. I strongly believe that when you really want something and work hard towards that exact dream, it will become reality. Also, I believe that when you do good, you are somehow rewarded, be it positive energy and support that helps you deal with any troubles that might come your way. For instance, I was excited to participate at the bidding auction organized by the Romanian fashion portal Flu. ro. They created a special website [Licitatii.Flu.ro] dedicated to helping raise money for children in need from Sulina, a town in the eastern part of Romania, with opening to the Black Sea. I am participating with some of my work [here] and hopefully people will bid a lot of money on all the product available, giving some children in need opportunities that they might not get otherwise.
The biddings on my dresses start at about 30 Euro [accessories are even cheaper than that], that’s not a lot, if you just add up the amount of money one monthly spends on magazines and other useless stuff. I fully support this auction and Flu’s hard work in making life a bit easier, even if only for one group of children. Small things do make a difference! I recently saw an interview with Madonna, talking about her latest documentary and I was amazed how passionate she was when talking about helping children and the people that are less fortunate than we are. Because lets face it, even the fact that you/I sit right now in front of a computer, in a home, reading/writing this makes us more fortunate than children that are abducted and forced to beg for a living, old people who have no families left and wait to die on the streets, children who end up at a shelter and have to grow up with no parents, and so on.
Everyday I try to be grateful of what I have, cherish what I earn, so I am happy about the fact that I’m mentioned in this article in Dialog Textil, an important Romanian fashion magazine which deals with the business side of Romanian fashion [see article here]. Thank you very much Paula Negrea. I also got the packaging that I ordered and the quilted labels [pictured up] to put on the clothes that I make. Cute, right? Now it’s back to studying for my last University exams and working on my graduation project; ‘from art piece to consumable product’ is the idea, but I will tell you more about it later.

Ieri ?i-am descoperit site-ul ?i am r?mas surprins?. Îm place c? faci rochii care chiar pot fi purtate! ?i eu am o pasiune pentru croitul rochiilor dar nu prea m? pricep la cusut :)) Plus c? nu am studiat la facultatea de arte, am ceva de recuperat :)
?i eu sunt din Timi?oara, tot în ultimul an de facultate ?i chiar acum 3 s?pt?mâni am avut banchetul de final. Am c?utat disperat? o rochie prin ora? ?i de abia am g?sit ceva pentru c? în magazine nu erau înc? rochii elegante.

:) mi-ar placea sa am magazin in Tm si de fapt peste tot prin tara, dar e o investite foarte mare care in acest moment chiar nu am de unde sa o fac :)

Nu trebuie sa ai magazinul tau, poti doar sa inchiriezi un spatiu, nu ar fi asa scump…Incerci 2-3 luni, daca merge continui, daca nu, nu :)
Intr-adevar pe internet nu mai platesti chiria magazinului, personal, etc. Dar daca ai avea un magazin ai atrage si clientela care poate nu te-a descoperit pe internet… :)
