‘Les fleurs de Josephine‘ is Florina Erimescu’s new collection of pretty flowers for pretty mademoiselles, which can be worn both as brooches or on a headband (each one can be ordered either way), made from silky fabrics and tulle attached on a cotton base. The precious stones used are freshwater pearls, natural nacre or colorful Swarovski crystals, the flowers have a width of 14 cm (about 5 inch-for the brooches; 17 cm-for the headpieces) and either one of them costs 80 RON (20 Euro) + shipping.

I could not help noticing how well Florina’s pretty flowers go with the latest pink tutu-tulle skirt that I made:

I used about 15 meters of tulle for this piece and attached it on a pure silk base underneath. I literally fell in love with it when I saw it finished, even if I did put in some serious amount of work! Felt a bit sorry that I had to send it away. But I am sure the fashionista whom I sent it to will appreciate it at least as much as I do.
