Diana Bobar

Welcome to my website ... and enjoy my journey inside the twisted world of Romanian fashion: from fabric choosing to pattern cutting, to the actual sewing - right now, I try to do my best in bulding my own clothing label: DIANA BOBAR DESIGN and having fun blogging the process.

Models Crush

Elise Crombez was my first model crush a couple of years ago, when I discovered that you can find pictures of all the collections from international fashion weeks online. I seriously used to spend days and days saving them all in categories and folders, neatly and cleanly organized. Looking through all the collections, I noticed that some girls were everywhere. One of them was Elise. Now-a-days we don’t really get to see here that often, however I’m always happy when she gets editorials in magazines. She is not breathtakingly beautiful, nor has she a colorful personality that translates into photos, but it’s just that there is some bond between us that is inexplicable to me. She’ll forever be my first model crush!

And then there is this male model: “made” by star photographer Mario Testino, I present you David Gandy. He is too perfect to be human, and by perfect I mean the epitome of the idea of male for me: powerful, dark-haired, amazingly good looking, Latin lover type of guy. And I think David Gandy is all that and even more. I know that there’s a part of me that likes them male models to be cool, alternative rocker dudes, however, hypothetically, when you imagine who you’d spend the rest of your life with, I’m sure you’d rather choose powerful and handsome over cool and dirty.

As seen in V Man #9 Fall/Winter0.

OK, enough eye candy for today: ladies, get back to work!
