Silvia Labos is a Romanian fashion design student (at the same University where I study painting) and a good friend of mine. She is actually my boyfriend’s very talented sister. Because I am visiting them in Timisoara, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to try on some of the clothes she designed and sewed for school. I do love them a lot, I think she has a good eye and wish her the best of luck for the future. She worked as a fashion designer for a Romanian brand called Fany Lux for a while, but now she designs for a jeans company. I’m sure she doesn’t use all her creativity at work, therefor more to use for her personal projects.

This top is actually painted, lovely black&white pattern, no? The neck and hemline are out of satin (that felt sooo good on the skin).
It’s self-confidence she lacks because right after I tried these great clothes on, she shoved them right back, deep into her big closet. She actually doesn’t wear her own clothes which is such a shame. I told her I would gladly wear all of them out (I actually did today). Do leave your feedback please, maybe if she sees that I am not the only one thinking she should confidently go on and pursue having her own fashion collection, she’ll take more action.
It feels so great to have designer friends..:) All you unknown designers out there, I wanna be your friend!!! I seriously would wear your clothes no matter how weird they are. Seriously!

What can I say, the first outfit is totally “me”: strapless top, volume-ized skirt = <3. In the second picture the shirt/dress in my own vintage one, it’s the hat she designed out of some rough material. Philip Tracy who?
I am sure you can imagine how much I adored this cropped jacket! The applications on it are handmade and really unique.

I’m still in “awwww” about this “godess” dress. Where’s an important art/fashion event when you need one?

I totally had fun. Too bad she’s not my sister, or else we’d be the next DSquared!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I just love that magical-perfect-awsome top, the blavk&white painted one :X:X:X:X:X:X:X…well she sure has one of the nicest jobs and she should’t waste her talent working for someone els…she must go out for her one she is so lucky and talented..i used to lack selfconfidence and think about myself that i;m a nobody and so others started to thik…you must show to the world what you can really do, there will always be people that will love your work and they are the ones who diserve to work for….Good luck!!

I’ll take the skirt, the black-and-white top, and her shoes from the other post, please. :P
I really like that white skirt, it’s gorgeous. Is there anyway I can get one for myself?
the strapless top & the white skirt are phenomenal. The “grecian-esque” dress is a show stopper. and do i even have to mention how fabulous that hat is?
The jacket is my favourite, she’s really good at what she does.
