I celebrated the New Year’s Eve with close friends at my place. I would have loved to go skiing in the mountains and welcome 2008 with lots of snow and a warm skiing outfit, but because of last minute changes we ended up staying at home in Timisoara. We have the most perfect view to enjoy all the fireworks, so we had some friends over and eventually had a great time. Nothing pretentious. That’s why I chose a comfortable outfit to wear. This skirt is actually a strapless dress that I transformed from a very ugly 80’s prom dress. I love this hue of blue and the bubble shape, so it’s very “me” so to say. The lace is just a touch of next springs “sheer/see through” trend.
We saw lots of fireworks from the balcony that’s part of our apartment. Looking at this picture of some of my friends, I noticed that we were mostly dresses in blue. Pretty funny coincidence. Andra (top, left) came too; if I’ll grow my hair it will probably look like hers. Fashionistas think alike!
