Una Moda Group fall 2008 at Romanian Fashion Week, 8-9 May [credit: stiletto.ro]
After reading an interesting post about the influences the collections had, at the latest ‘Romanian Fashion Week’, it seems like Alexander McQueen was the biggest one of them. However, when I saw the Una Moda Group fall collection, I could only think of one thing: Rodarte and their stunning fall 2008 collection! How can one forget their amazingly breathtaking collection?!? I personally loved it, so it wasn’t hard to see the influences in the Una Moda Group collection. Sure, the knits are not that intricately and artistically de-constructed, the looks are not that fairy-like. But I do see the influence.
And now, for our visual entertainment:

It made your day, right? It surely made mine! a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Oh, fashion!

That is a remarkable shoe!
oh.. so, that’s a shoe, not an instrument of torture? hihi ;))
That last shot is making drool and go into pain spasms…because said shoes would cost a bomb….but the tights… do you think they’ll be retailed…let’s hope so for my sake…
Maybe my grandmother can knit something like that. I’ll ask her and get back to you!
All I can say is wow!!!!
these two girls (the rodarte ones) are just out of this world!! they came to NY with a bag of samples and just got their luck with a very important fashion editor. their dresses is a work of art, with a comparable craftsmanship may be to the ones made by hand in the fashionable 20’s..
they are a phenomenon… IMO…
Love these bejeweled shoes. After I recover from my ski trip ankle injury I could totally wear them.
Really hope to hear news from you again. :) Glad you like RFW. May be one day you will be on the scene! It would be great.
I was wondering if anyone knows where you can get those gold Rodarte shoes in NYC?
I love the punk studs element.I would have one probably ;-)
Wow.
