The new kids collection by Phillip Lim is very adorable and quite fashionable. If I had a little girl… OK, I would make clothes for her myself. First, I wanted to state that I’d dress her in Phillip Lim. However, after checking the prices at Barneys New York of these tiny (fabric wise) clothes, I realized these were more expensive than the Diana Bobar Design ready-to-wear clothes that I produce, cut and sew myself. Seriously, either I have way too low prices for my designs, or these tiny garments are completely overpriced for their value. Also, kids grow fast, everybody knows that. Than why bother being “fancy” when playing in a sandbox? Oh, sure, the 300 USD trench-dress (second, from left) would look great against the sand!
