What happened to little kids' clothes looking like kids clothes, and not miniature versions of adult apparel?
I remember wearing blue shorts and a white short sleeve t-shirt with some cartoon character on the front and matching blue trim to climb trees and come home from the park all scratched up, dirty and rosy cheeked from running around for five hours and getting dressed up in ruffled dresses and white socks with matching ruffles, pretty shoes and ribbons in my hair to visit mom's friends and acquaintances on weekends. Oh, those were the days, fun 24/7 :)
I see more girlieness in grown up clothes now than kids'- e.g. your previous petticoat post. I rest my case.
Designers bring childhood back!
