I had to run some errands today and in a hurry, I randomly wraped this black jersey fabric as a top and wore it. When I looked in the mirror, I actually really liked it. Works great with the fitted shape of the blazer, no? No, I am not over ‘black’. PS: my sewing machine is in the back.
Sheets For Sweet Dreams
I am very grateful that I have been so busy lately, even if sewing orders is actually the hardest thing to do, just because it involves no creative process what-so-ever. I prefer to always think of new stuff, new patterns and fabrics, however to afford investing further intro the business, I have to somehow produce as much of my current designs as possible. So, whenever I am stressed out, instead of taking a break and watching TV (or doing whatever), I prefer to sew something for myself. Lately it was bed-sheets. When I moved to University my mom gave me a set of sheets with light pink and purple flowers. In the meantime I kinda grew up and came to the conclusion that I had to get new sheets.
And then I figured why pay, when I can make them myself, exactly like I want them to be. I chose a black satin cotton, just because of the incredible soft feel of the fabric. But actually the printed fabric is the one that makes all the difference. I assure you my dreams are sweeter right now. Also, if you are interested in getting such a sheets-set, just contact me at diana[at]sofashon.com.
Roses And Violets
Can not wait to have a proper showroom, with more hanging space for my dresses. Right now, most of them are waiting to be shipped to stores (added a new one to carry a selection of my work, but more on that later) or to clients, who don’t mind that it’s winter and wear them a season ahead.
Hopefully the future showroom (I can dream!) will come with the possibility to actually see my ads printed in magazines. I don’t think people will mind see Roro’s pretty face around, right?

Josephine Sale
Christmas is getting closer, which means: time for presents! You can start getting them now, because Josephine Jewellery is having a sale. You can get any of these lovely Swarovsky crystals brooches at a 25% discount, until 1st December. See more brooches here. For orders contact her or even me at diana[at]sofashon.com. I really love the first red-and-pink one, looks like a strawberry to me!
Trick Or Treat
It was a fun Halloween this year, as we got together all dressed up at a party held at Santa Claus’ house. From doctors and nurses, to monsters, super-heroes, Pocahontas and Charlie Chaplin, they were all there, ready to trick and to treat. I had no time to sew a proper ‘cat woman’ outfit for myself, so I chose to go with the easiest: a showgirl-pussycat look. Maybe next year I’ll be bold enough to rock a latex suit. Roarrr!
Did you dress up for Halloween?
