Diana Bobar Design fall 2008 print work: labels and look book.
Champagne for everyone! Why? Because I have my own tiny tiny fashion business running. I finalized my paperwork, got everything I need to start giving out receipts and selling my designs to stores worldwide (I wish :) ). I am glad most part of the work is over. I finally have my own little cute stamp with ‘Diana Bobar Design‘ on it, the ordered quilted labels will be ready soon; also I got a dress form to photograph the clothes on it for the future online store. I am glad that I managed to get things done, while I still go to school. I can’t wait to finish University this year, so I can invest all my energy in fashion design and production, as it’s getting more and more serious.
I happily remember how I used to ‘transform’ my mom’s old dresses into tops, just for the fun of it. It’s quite amazing how much things have changed since last summer, for the best, of course.
However, the world is full of mean, envious people. I get to know that almost every day. Fashion students that I used to be friends with don’t even talk to me anymore, people that I wasn’t friends with before now come up to me and ask for clothes and expect an instant friendship to get them free stuff. It’s all a bit weird and hard to handle, but whatever. I’ll compromise as long as I’ll be able to keep on doing what I love, and right now, that is making pretty pretty clothes.
