The Ramayana Cafe opening took place this Monday and it was fab: the place, the design, the people present, the fashion show that took place with the collection that I specially made for this event [see look book here]. It all turned out better than I would have ever expected and I am so glad I was part of it!
The cafe is located in Bucharest on the Baldovin Parcalabul street, nr. 11. It is open 24/7, so whenever you want a piece of quiet and intimacy, this is the place to go.
These are some snap-shots I took before my fashion show started, just to get you a glimpse of how everything looked. I was in the backstage all the time, getting the models dressed and ready for the runway, so I actually didn’t see the real show. However, as soon as I will get the photographs and the video from the show, I will happily share them with you! Until then, enjoy these backstage photos and the beautiful models: even if they were few, they were perfect for my designs, as they had a whole lot of personality: love, love, loved them!
From top, left: me, Dana Marijuana and Nona, the owner of the Ramayana Cafe; fab models.
The ladies room was really special, as it had the walls covered in red roses. Really loved the idea. Made me think of Viktor&Rolf and their romantic, over-the-top-pretty aesthetic. Do check back soon for my runway show!
