‘Amazingly beautiful jewelery for feminine fashionistas’, that’s what best describes Josephine’s work. Even if the brand is new, I had the pleasure to meet up with the designer, Florina Erimescu, as she is a good friend/client of mine. She recently told me about the contest she organized: everybody can participate in choosing a name for this piece of jewelery she created.

The most personal and appropriate name wins the actual piece of jewelery, so don’t waist time and tell us what you think this brooch should be called. It’s made from Swarovski crystals called Vintage Rose and Crystal, but I’m am sure you’ll think of a more personal and intimate name for it.

I would call is simply “Whisper“, just because it’s so understated, pure, soft, in one word: beautiful! I can almost imagine the video/print ad for this piece of jewelery: a young girl with nude colored lips, in the dark, whispering in the most French accent possible: Josephine.

Because I feel so inspired by Josephine and what the brand stands for, I asked Florina to design a special collection of jewelery for my next collection (spring/summer 2009). I can’t wait to see the results of the collaboration, as we already ordered the crystals.
